Job summary

Midco is hiring a Field Technician in North Dakota. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting services for residential and business customers using cutting-edge technology.

You will perform assessments, manage installations and disconnections, and solve network issues while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers paid training, potential quarterly bonuses, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; DUI in last 5 years disqualifies.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility and costs.
• Perform installations and service changes in homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE; resolve signal issues.
• Act as liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on use and additional services.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders on network extensions.
• Ensure positive customer experience by delivering high-quality service and addressing concerns.
• Log information on work orders and referrals to track requests.
• Mentor and train other team members; cross-train on services.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety practices.
• Perform on-call duties as required.
