Job summary

Midco in Jamestown, ND is hiring a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and business services. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with paid training and opportunities for quarterly bonuses and advancement.

You’ll work with leading technology to deliver value for customers and enjoy a path to higher pay as you grow. This role emphasizes strong customer service, safety, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED as a minimum requirement.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a DUI in the past five years disqualifies.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform service installations and changes for voice, video, and data at homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE and ensure signal quality.
• Collaborate between Field Ops and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on Midco services and help them use equipment correctly.
• Provide technical support on network extensions and bury drop requirements.
• Log work orders, surveys, and referrals; maintain a clean work area after each job.
• Mentor teammates, cross-train on services, and contribute to safety compliance.
• Work on-call as required and adhere to safety programs and PPE rules.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain its appearance and repairs.
