Job summary

Midco is hiring a Field Tech in Jamestown, ND. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with no experience required and paid training provided. Career advancement with pay increases and quarterly bonuses is available.

The role includes a company vehicle, clothing and tools, and access to free and discounted Midco fiber internet and cable TV. The Field Tech will install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers, ensuring top performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply principles in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and comprehensive technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility.
• Perform installation tasks, including voice, video, and data installations, and service changes at homes and business locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from the tap to CPE and ensure optimal signal levels and picture quality.
• Act as liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on proper use and access to online help.
