Job summary

KLA seeks an on-site field service engineer to support advanced semiconductor equipment from Phoenix, AZ. You will partner with global build, sustaining, and field teams to resolve high-impact issues and share knowledge across sites.

The Jumper Team focuses on panel-process platforms and OSAT customers, offering growth as you develop deep, differentiated expertise and measurable impact across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s with relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including deployments at customer sites in Asia.
• Ability to work independently with minimal planning and drive tasks to resolution.
• Mechanical, electronics, and electrical interface diagnostics and fixing.

Responsibilities

• Respond to highly technical system-performance issues on-site with POA or hands-on support.
• Provide burst/surge support to follower sites and newly ramping installations.
• Document BKMs and troubleshooting procedures in internal knowledge systems.
• Analyze data from remote sites to identify root causes of issues.
• Train KLA support personnel and improve service quality and profitability.
