KLA in Chandler, AZ seeks an experienced installation engineer to deploy and qualify advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will diagnose issues, perform setup, alignment, calibration and verification, and coordinate with engineering and regional teams to ensure smooth transfer of ownership.

The role requires travel, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Minimum ASET degree or equivalent with hands-on capital equipment experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree or equivalent in supporting complex capital equipment for semiconductor industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate across regions, engineering and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders and complete installation documentation on time.
• Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools.
