Job summary

NPAA in Lebanon, KY seeks a Field Technical Service Representative to lead line performance, track quality trends, troubleshoot color/appearance issues, and support line trials. You will manage documentation, inventory, and program management for customer accounts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of automotive paints technical experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with production teams and customers on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Technical experience with automotive paints is preferred.
• Strong communication and data interpretation skills.
• Good organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to wear a respirator and PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate day-to-day operations with customer base and Cleveland facility via action register meetings.
• Monitor NPAA online performance and incoming quality for color and appearance criteria.
• Track inventory levels with the FTS Specialist/Technical Account Manager and Sales reps.
• Implement and track value-added activities to improve production processes and issues.
• Generate reports and documentation on projects and issues for the account.
• Assist with developing line correlations and color program optimization.
• Monitor customer production runs and determine performance requirements.
• Coordinate and execute technical service needs and material adjustments for production batches on site.
• Perform QC tests on NPAA materials on site as required.
• Participate in facility continuous improvement activities and project reviews.
