Job summary

NPAA in Greeneville, TN is recruiting a Field Technical Service Representative to support automotive coatings. You will manage line performance, troubleshoot color/appearance issues, and coordinate with the Cleveland facility through action registers and regular technical meetings with customers.

The role demands strong communication, problem solving, and PPE-compliant field work. You will implement value-added activities, track inventory, generate timely reports, and support color program

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 2+ years of customer-based technical experience in automotive paints.
• Strong communication and data interpretation abilities.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills for field service.
• Ability to wear respirator and PPE when needed.
• Familiarity with 2K coatings and isocyanates is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations with customers and Cleveland facility.
• Monitor NPAA online performance and color/appearance quality.
• Track inventory levels with teammates for stock management.
• Lead value-added activities to improve production processes.
• Generate reports, data, and documentation for accounts.
• Assist with color program management and new model color work.
• Support RGA issues and technical service needs on site.
• Complete material adjustments for production batches as needed.
• Document line processes to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Coordinate samples and production trials; participate in CI programs.
