Pratt Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to act as the primary liaison between Pratt Industries and assigned customers. The role emphasizes maintaining strong relationships, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to boost satisfaction and efficiency.

The candidate will conduct on-site visits, communicate customer concerns, and drive cost-reducing initiatives while partnering with CSRs, QA, and production teams to support company growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years outside sales experience or related experience with college coursework.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data collection and reporting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to groups.
• Strong mathematical skills: rates, ratios, percentages.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
• Serve as main contact, relay customer concerns to Pratt facility.
• Investigate process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives on new items and customer activity.
• Join local Sales Representatives to review customer production lines.
• Support QA Manager in complaint resolution.
• Work closely with production team and Project Manager.
• Lead Pratt projects impacting customers.
