Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to serve as the primary liaison with assigned customers, maintaining strong relationships and driving process improvements. The role requires frequent travel to customer locations and collaboration with CSRs, QA, production, and project management teams.

You will lead projects impacting customers, identify efficiency opportunities, and ensure satisfaction and operational excellence across Pratt facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Minimum five years of outside sales experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to collect data and generate reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of presenting to groups.
• Basic arithmetic; ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
• Act as main contact, communicating customer concerns to Pratt facility.
• Investigate opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with CSRs on new items and overall customer activity.
• Join local Sales Representatives to review customer production lines.
• Support QA Manager in complaint resolution.
• Work closely with production team and Project Manager.
• Lead Pratt projects impacting customers.
