Job summary

ARC - Automation Robotics and Controls Inc. is seeking an Outside Technical Sales Representative to visit customer sites, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities within automation and industrial components.

You will support the full sales process from inquiry to order fulfillment, coordinating with engineering, purchasing, and project management teams. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of technical sales experience, strong technical aptitude, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or business-related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally in automation or industrial components.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn and clearly explain complex products to customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Applications.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to discuss needs, review applications, strengthen relationships, and identify new opportunities.
• Respond to inquiries regarding parts, components, and products related to automation systems.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotes with timely follow-up and clear communication.
• Process sales orders and track them through delivery with regular customer updates.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Purchasing, and Project Managers to support ongoing projects.
• Assist with sourcing and pricing components, coordinating with vendors and manufacturers as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records and product information in internal systems.
• Support general administrative sales tasks to ensure smooth daily workflow.
