Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Technical Consultant for the Rapid Diagnostics, Infectious Disease division. This field-based remote role is based in Cleveland/Columbus, Ohio with 75% travel, supporting account evaluations, demonstrations, and activation while maintaining relationships with VIP customers.

You will educate clinical staff on product utility in lab and Point-of-Care settings, lead connectivity projects, and ensure seamless integration with customer IT and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and clinical training on all Abbott Infectious Disease products, including instruments and visual read tests.
• Assist with verification studies in compliance with CLIA, CAP, COLA, and TJC regulations.
• Lead POC Link connectivity and integration efforts with customers.
• Act as a technical liaison during POC Link evaluations and align implementation with IT requirements.
• Educate customers on clinical and operational value of POC Link and improved workflows.
