Job summary

Smartlink LLC is seeking a Field Technician II to support wireless telecommunications infrastructure across in-building systems, rooftops, and tower sites. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer-facing skills, and hands-on fiber installation including pulling, dressing, and project closeouts.

Qualifications

Minimum of four (4) years of related experience and/or technical training; equivalent education considered.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and telecommunications testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, integrate, program, maintain, decommission, and repair wireless equipment and systems.
Install CAT5/6 cabling, routers, twisted pair, optical fiber, and related cabling through conduit and trays.
Lead projects when required; maintain project trackers and provide status updates to management.
Identify and address issues in partnership with supervisors; provide timely solutions.
Conduct testing and validation using a variety of test equipment.
Maintain documentation, project files, and reports accurately and on time.
Provide training and guidance on policies, procedures, and technical tasks to teammates.
