Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Systems Technician to service, upgrade, and maintain telephone, data, and voice circuits, as well as SCADA RTU and PLC equipment. The role includes field testing, diagnostic work, and occasional back-up technical support within the Montello Technical Group.

The ideal candidate has an Electronic Technology background with strong practical skills in networking, test equipment, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with field maintenance and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries out preventive maintenance and installation duties.
• Tests and maintains telephone, data, voice circuits and related equipment.
• Operates test gear and coordinates repairs to restore operation.
• Maintains safety standards and uses protective equipment in hazardous areas.
• Interprets drawings and plans for installation and maintenance of systems.
• Provides reports on work status and assists in planning maintenance programs.
• Responds to 24-hour emergency calls to restore pipeline facilities.
