Job summary

Future Technologies is seeking a Field Communication Technician in Midland, TX to support SCADA and wireless networks. This role covers daily operations, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and testing of communications equipment for our West Texas region.

Responsibilities include installations, inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless network equipment, data transfer to customer polling systems, RF and low voltage work, tower infrastructure, and other wireless devices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installations, inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communications and wireless network equipment for reliable collection.
• Transfer of measurement and real-time related data to the customer polling systems.
• RF and low voltage electrical work that involves transmitters, RTU/EFM, radios, antenna systems.
• Tower infrastructure and other wireless communication devices.
• These basic responsibilities related to wireless communications and telemetry will be supported with standardized processes and procedures.
