Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. The role involves repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and performing predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment in gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
Experience with control software including Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV preferred.
Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195, NEC and OSHA 1910 regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrumentation and electrical equipment components.
Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics for electrical and process controls.
Test, calibrate, and document plant control and safety devices per applicable regulations and safety programs.
Provide work direction, mentorship, and participate in on-call and safety initiatives.
Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
