Job summary

Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines for field engineering roles supporting radio system upgrades. You will travel to customer sites, perform system staging and live upgrades, and document final configurations, acting as a customer-facing technical resource.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering/CS/IT, with strong IP networking and RF knowledge, and excellent communication skills to explain complex topics to nontechnical audiences. 25–50% travel is common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Networking or Technology
• Experience in radio communication systems, RF, wireless or LTE is highly desirable
• Experience with IP networking, network design and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS) is highly desirable
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar are highly desirable
• Experience working with end-user customers is essential
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences is essential
