Job summary

AccurIT Systems, Inc. is seeking an on-site IT Support Technician in Overland Park, KS to install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals for external customers.

You will coordinate hardware and software installations, train users, and maintain documentation while delivering world-class support under deadlines. A Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of related experience is required; MCSE is preferred or in progress; strong knowledge of TCP/IP, printers, switches/routers and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience.
• MCSE certification preferred or in progress.
• Knowledge of PC/Server hardware and OS; standalone and networked printers; TCP/IP protocols; MS Office suite; Blackberry and other PDA devices; switches & routers.
• Ability to solve practical problems with varied variables and limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops and peripherals for external customers.
• Coordinate installation of desktop and laptop hardware and software, including peripherals (monitors, printers, PDA devices).
• Provide support and train users when requested by the customer.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of desktop configurations.
• Create technical tips documents for the technical team.
• Install, configure and set-up computers, workstations, printers, telephones, and other network devices on client networks.
