Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator to join our Survey team in College Station, TX. You will assist the Crew Chief on field surveys and use Total Stations, Data Collectors and GPS to collect data for a variety of projects. A High School diploma or GED is required with 0–2 years of experience.

A valid driver’s license may be required and travel is occasional. We offer benefits including medical, dental and vision, a 401(k)/Roth, and paid time off to support

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent is required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Travel required occasionally, must be able to drive for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief in field surveys.
• Operate standard surveying equipment and safety methods.
• Use Total Stations, GPS, and Data Collector to collect data.
• Upload and manage field data and ensure accuracy.
• Transport and set up surveying instruments and equipment.
• Follow safety policies and project SOPs.
