Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in College Station, TX is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator to join our Survey team. You will assist the Crew Chief in field surveys, use Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS, and other equipment to collect data, upload/download field data, and may drive the survey vehicle.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
0-2 years of experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license may be required.
Demonstrate basic organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Intermediate knowledge of surveying practices and equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist Crew Chief in field surveys.
Operate standard surveying equipment and follow safety procedures.
Use Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS to collect data.
Upload and download field data collections.
May drive the survey vehicle.
Set up instruments and prepare job sites for surveying.
Maintain safety and SOP compliance.
Care for survey instruments and equipment.
