Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Field Support Lead to guide on-site FSC/TC teams during wind project construction. You will enforce safety, drive training, and ensure SAP processes are followed while coordinating resources and schedules across multiple sites.

The role requires 5+ years at site level, strong project management and mentoring skills, and the ability to travel up to 80%. Join a global wind leader focused on safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of site-level experience; strong project management and training background.
• Experience with SAP in dispatch/planning, stock keeper, and forecasting roles.
• Strong planning, logistics, scheduling, and inventory control capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead teams and enforce processes.
• Advanced PC skills (MS Office) and SAP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise and develop the Field Support team (3–5 employees + 3–5 contractors) to improve performance.
• Maintain safety policies and a clean, safe work environment; lead daily safety meetings.
• Train, develop, and mentor Field Support Coordinators and Tool Coordinators.
• Verify NCRs in SAP and ensure accurate recording.
• Assist Field Support Manager with staffing, scheduling, and issue resolution.
• Monitor hours, budget, expenditures, and site progress; conduct closeout audits.
