Vestas is a world leader in wind energy, seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our Field Operations team. You will focus on safety, reliability, and hands-on maintenance of turbines, working with specialists to install, test, and troubleshoot components while following strict safety procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma and wind-industry experience or related mechanical skills, with the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Wind industry experience or related technical skills strongly preferred.
• Internal candidate training: LOTO II, D-Service, Core 100 & 200, turbine-specific training.
• External candidates must complete required training within 6 months.
• Ability to understand safety practices (Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Out).
• Experience with electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems and training others.

Responsabilités

• Act as a safety champion and promote safe behavior on site.
• Complete safety training and mentor junior technicians.
• Operate and input data in MyTime and MyTask with cost allocations.
• Utilize tools and software (SAP, VOB, VIS, VTM) to support operations.
• Handle complex tasks (crane work, CIM projects) and troubleshoot equipment.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve operational goals.
