Job summary

Vestas in Austin, Texas is seeking a Project Support Coordinator (Level 2) to partner with the Construction Manager on a wind turbine installation project. You will monitor schedules, manage documentation, and ensure quality control while collaborating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep the project on track.

You will mentor new hires, support daily site operations, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives, reporting to the Project Manager,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced technical degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in wind, energy, industrial or civil construction with contractor management.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of wind turbine construction and operation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project schedule, document delays, and coordinate with contracts for cost tracking.
• Audit installation progress, validate quality docs, and support site certifications.
• Maintain site data in information systems, prepare documentation for PM/CM.
• Support daily PODs, update SitePro, and coordinate with customers and sub contractors.
• Coach and mentor new hires and assist with on-site training.
