Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Mobile Site Manager to oversee multiple service sites regionally with heavy travel. You will lead a team of Service Technicians, ensure safety compliance, manage budgets and revenues, and coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues.

The role requires strong leadership, change management, and a commitment to safety and quality. The position offers development opportunities within a global wind energy leader, requiring travel across sites and regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a passport.
• Experience in P&L management.
• Experience managing safety programs.
• Advanced computer operation and internet-based program navigation.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Establish and oversee safety practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Operational Effectiveness: Foster safety culture, structure, and continuous improvement; manage change with stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop Service Technicians and manage safety training.
• Customer Relations: Interface with customers and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Financial Management: Manage site budgets, costs, and revenues; input data in Salesforce and SAP.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and deliver lean improvement plans at the site.
• Technical Assistance: Provide support to technicians and optimize work instructions.
• Travel Requirements: This is a 100% travel position across sites within region.
