Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead a team delivering start-up, commissioning, integration, and emergency service for electrical switchgear up to 15 kV. Qualifications

• Graduate of electrical technical school or military equivalent with nine years minimum relevant experience.
• High school diploma with ten years minimum relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist field service technicians in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and tests on electrical apparatus and systems.
• Oversee large projects requiring specialized skills such as commissioning of substations and turnkey projects.
• Develop tests and inspections for new field services areas.
• Prepare proposals, schedule, reports and billing; write detailed end-of-project reports.
