Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Senior Field Engineer to supervise field service work, train technicians, and perform advanced electrical testing and commissioning on large projects. You will manage complex field activities, prepare estimates, and deliver comprehensive reports. Travel readiness, strong NEC knowledge and leadership are essential in this role.

The position requires coordination with service engineers in the region and ongoing client interface to ensure safety, quality and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• BSEE or BSME required with six years' experience; orElectrical tech school or military equivalent with nine years' experience; or high school plus ten years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist field engineers and technicians.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests and inspections on electrical systems.
• Lead large projects including generator tests, substation commissioning and turnkey projects.
• Perform job estimating, proposals, fieldwork, scheduling, reporting and billing.
• Write detailed project reports and process billing.
• Travel up to weeks internationally.
