Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to support day-to-day field execution on assigned projects, coordinating with the Superintendent, HS&E, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to keep work moving safely and in alignment with project plans, schedules, quality expectations, and Ledcor’s safety standards.

This hands-on, site-based role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage field activities and relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary training or certifications are assets.
• 3+ years in supervision (Foreman/Lead Hand) in construction.
• Experience in underground construction, telecom, utilities, or related environments preferred.
• Solid understanding of drawings, schedules, cost awareness, and quality requirements.
• Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving with crews and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently to support project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field activities, ensuring work is safe, efficient, and aligned with plans and Ledcor safety requirements.
• Promote safety culture through hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and incident reporting support.
• Monitor field progress, production, locates, restoration plans, and quality to keep projects on track.
• Supervise subcontractor performance, including safety compliance, schedule commitments, production reporting, and quality.
• Build positive relationships with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Support access coordination, field issue resolution, and clear communication with the Superintendent.
