Job summary

Vault Roofing is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead residential roofing installs in assigned markets. This hands-on leadership role requires deep field experience, the ability to manage crews and subcontractors, and to keep jobs moving on schedule.

You’ll inspect sites, enforce safety and quality, coordinate with Production/Operations/Sales to hit timelines, track milestones, and coach crews to improve output. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential roofing installation experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role (Field Superintendent, Production Manager, Foreman, Lead Installer, etc.)
• Experience managing multiple crews and maintaining quality across sites.
• Strong knowledge of roofing best practices, jobsite flow, and punch/closeout.
• Comfortable enforcing standards and leading through accountability.
• Familiarity with production tools, inspections, or job tracking systems.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel within assigned markets as needed.
• Experience with storm restoration / high-volume residential operations preferred.
• Experience scaling new markets or standardizing crew processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day residential roofing installations across assigned markets.
• Manage roofing crews/subcontractors and oversee multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Ensure quality installs meet manufacturer specs, code requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and solve issues in real time (materials, workmanship, scope changes).
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain jobsite compliance.
• Coordinate with Production/Operations/Sales to hit timelines and customer expectations.
• Track progress, production milestones, and readiness for closeout.
• Coach, train, and correct performance to improve crew output and consistency.
• Own field execution from start to completion.
