Job summary

Vault Roofing is expanding across the Carolinas and is hiring a Field Superintendent to lead hands-on residential roofing installations in the field. This role requires deep installation experience, the ability to manage crews, drive quality, and keep projects moving on schedule.

You will oversee multiple jobs, enforce safety, coordinate with Production/Operations/Sales, and coach teams to raise output and consistency. Travel within the Carolinas is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in residential roofing installation (asphalt shingles).
• At least 2+ years in a leadership role (Field Superintendent, Foreman, etc.).
• Experience managing multiple crews and maintaining quality across sites.
• Strong knowledge of roofing best practices, jobsite flow, and punch/closeout.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Carolinas as needed.
• Experience with storm restoration or high-volume residential operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day residential roofing installations across assigned Carolinas territories.
• Manage roofing crews/subcontractors and oversee multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Ensure quality installs meet manufacturer specs, code requirements, and company standards.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and solve issues in real time (materials, workmanship, scope changes).
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain jobsite compliance.
• Coordinate with Production/Operations/Sales to hit timelines and customer expectations.
• Track progress, production milestones, and readiness for closeout.
• Coach, train, and correct performance to improve crew output and consistency.
• Own field execution from start to completion.
