Job summary

ARCO Design/Build seeks an Assistant Superintendent to lead field activities, coordinate subcontractors, and monitor safety, schedule, and budget across projects.

You will work with project managers and design teams to progress projects from preconstruction through construction, ensuring quality and timely delivery while supporting your professional growth in a dynamic design/build environment.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, and industrial builds.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning: attend post-award meetings and assist with planning.
• Develop construction schedules with the Project Manager.
• Oversee daily field activities to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure cross-trade coordination.
• Assist with material deliveries, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Prepare job progress reports and monitor costs.
• Maintain daily reports and project documents.
