ARCO Design/Build is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help drive field leadership on diverse construction projects. You will work with seasoned professionals through the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality and gaining exposure to post-award planning and coordination.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and professional growth in a fast-paced design/build environment with opportunities across industrial and tilt-up projects.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• Strong interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Previous construction experience preferred but not required
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction planning – attend post-award meetings and assist with construction planning.
• Project scheduling – develop construction schedules, sequencing, staffing plans, and equipment needs.
• Field leadership – oversee daily construction activities to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and specs.
• Subcontractor coordination – manage subcontractor activities and coordinate across trades.
