Job summary

KB Home is seeking a dynamic Superintendent/Construction Manager to lead the homebuilding process from groundbreaking to close within an assigned community. You will ensure profitability, build relationships with trade partners, inspectors, and homebuyers, and uphold quality and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with Architecture, Sales, Studio and Purchasing, drive safety, manage schedules, and deliver 100% complete homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year as a Construction Manager or Superintendent in the homebuilding industry.
• 2–5 years of construction experience with a production homebuilder preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct staff and trade partners in constructing quality homes.
• Manage milestone reports and ensure homes are completed per schedule.
• Schedule and monitor trade partners; ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Approve purchase orders and invoices; maintain quality and timeliness.
• Maintain site cleanliness and daily trade partner cleanup.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Sales, Studio, Purchasing and other teams.
• Ensure 100% complete home deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct buyer orientations and support the sales team to satisfy customers.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and provide daily progress updates.
• Drive permit and inspection sign-offs with NHQ-certified partners.
