Job summary

KB Home is seeking an experienced Superintendent/Construction Manager to lead the entire homebuilding process from groundbreaking to close within an assigned community. You will drive profitability, manage trade partners, inspectors, and homebuyers to uphold high quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred), 1+ year as Construction Manager/superintendent, and 2–5 years of production homebuilding experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Construction management degree/certificate preferred.
• Minimum one year as Construction Manager or Superintendent in homebuilding.
• 2–5 years of construction experience with production homebuilder preferred.
• Strong customer service, leadership, and people skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct KB staff and trade partners in constructing quality homes, adhering to the KB Edge business model.
• Manage milestone reports and ensure homes are completed per schedule.
• Schedule and monitor trade partners, ensuring safety and policy compliance.
• Approve purchase orders and invoices, maintaining quality and timely completion.
• Maintain subdivision cleanliness and accountability for daily trade partner cleanup.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, quality construction.
• Ensure home deliveries are 100% complete and signed off by buyers.
