KB Home is seeking a dynamic Superintendent/Construction Manager to lead the full homebuilding process from groundbreaking to close within an assigned community in North Carolina. You will drive profitability, manage trade partners, inspectors, and homebuyers, and uphold top quality and customer satisfaction throughout construction.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate across Architecture, Sales, and Purchasing teams, ensuring 100% complete deliveries

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and leadership abilities with excellent communication.
• Experience working with teams, trade partners, inspectors and buyers.
• Ability to manage safety, quality and schedule with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct staff and trade partners to construct quality homes per schedule.
• Manage milestone reports and ensure homes are completed on time.
• Schedule and monitor trade partners while ensuring safety compliance.
• Approve purchase orders and invoices while maintaining quality.
• Maintain site cleanliness and accountability for trade partners.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely construction and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide daily status updates on progress.
