Job summary

BARNHART is seeking a Superintendent in Memphis to lead field crews in heavy lifting, rigging, and transportation projects. You will ensure safe, efficient execution in line with company standards while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

You will coach crews, manage schedules and safety programs, and collaborate with engineering and operations to optimize upcoming work. A strong focus on leadership and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and clear reasoning.
• Crane and rigging experience of at least 2 years.
• Foreman level experience of at least 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to perform safely, profitably and with delighted customers.
• Support sales by performing job walks and assisting in estimating.
• Collaborate with engineering for planning and optimization of upcoming work.
• Participate in handoff meetings to receive direction and schedules.
• Coordinate equipment needs, inspections, and load-out lists; coordinate trucking.
• Execute scheduled work while applying safety programs and risk management.
• Delegate tasks with clear man-hour expectations and safety criteria.
• Ensure crew members are qualified and maintain equipment.
