Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Rigging Foreman to lead field crews on heavy lift, rigging, machinery moving, and specialized transportation projects across North America. You will manage daily operations, coordinate equipment and personnel, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related heavy industrial work and proven leadership. A valid license and ability to travel and work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in rigging, machinery moving, crane operations, construction, or related heavy industrial work.
• Proven leadership, crew lead, supervisor, or foreman experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews supporting heavy lift, rigging, machinery moving, and specialized transportation projects.
• Direct daily field operations with a strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality execution.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Work with Project Managers to identify and resolve operational challenges impacting productivity or scheduling.
• Inspect lifting, rigging, gantry, jacking, and machinery moving equipment for safe operation.
