Schindler Group is seeking a Field Superintendent for Existing Installations in Houston, TX. The role leads field personnel, ensures elevator maintenance meets quality and safety standards, and supports sales with service order estimates.

Candidates should bring strong leadership and elevator industry knowledge to drive customer satisfaction and project efficiency. You'll oversee staffing, training, and performance, while collaborating with area management on pricing and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry or related technical field.
• Minimum leadership experience in field operations or equivalent role.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance meets quality standards and contract requirements.
• Implement safety, quality, and passenger safety requirements on each project.
• Support sales in estimating service orders and scheduling.
• Manage project audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Develop manpower plans, training, and performance appraisal processes.
• Coordinate route management to optimize preventive maintenance and manpower.
