Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) in Houston, TX, seeks a Field Superintendent-Existing Installations to lead service and repair for assigned units, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction across projects. Role includes staff training, route optimization, and collaboration with sales for service orders.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of technical leadership experience, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in relevant field.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of elevators and escalators to manage field personnel.
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Interpret customer concerns and mobilize internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction while minimizing disruptions.
• Teach hourly employees the Company’s methods of quality, productivity and safety.

Mansioni

• Ensure maintenance meets Area and Company quality standards and contract requirements.
• Support sales staff in estimating service orders, scheduling and executing orders, and resolving customer complaints.
• Manage project audit programs to ensure quality, safety and completeness.
• Develop and implement manpower selection, training and performance appraisal programs.
• Implement route management to minimize manpower while maintaining safety.
• Maintain proactive relationships with local IUEC business agent and advise Area management of competitor activity.
• This position may include a sales role depending on the candidate.
