Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI - A MasTec Company) seeks a Substation Journeyman to perform high voltage substation work including construction, maintenance, and repair for electrical utility projects across the Central US.

The role emphasizes safety and adherence to industry standards while supporting upgrades and new installations. Qualified candidates have substation experience, a valid driver's license, and are willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State Class C driver's license.
• Must have previous substation experience.
• Must be willing to travel around Central US.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• 4+ years of substation experience.

Responsibilities

• Works safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair, testing, adjusting and troubleshooting substation equipment/systems.
• Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions of substation equipment during installation/maintenance.
• Operate and maintain required tools, vehicles, and test equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety protocols and company ethics in daily tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
