Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. is seeking a Substation Wireman to maintain, repair, modify, and install electrical equipment for substations serving utility companies. This role supports constructing new substations and upgrading existing ones, with emphasis on safety and field execution.

Applicants should have substation experience and be able to work in a field environment, with capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights. OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have previous substation experience.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of substation work per power company standards as directed by supervision.
• Hook up and dress transformers, set poles, equipment, and steel structures; adjust switches.
• Complete all required paperwork and job logs.
• Work with limited or no supervision.
• Troubleshoot power and control circuits.
• Able to work at heights and from a boom lift.
• Understand and train hand signals for equipment operation.
