Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI) is seeking a Substation Field Engineer to support the Construction Manager and Project Manager on transmission projects up to 500 kV. You will manage RFI responses, submittals, transmittals, and quality control, ensuring craft workers perform according to drawings and specifications.

The role requires 100% travel, extended hours, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. A BS in Electrical Engineering-Construction Management or equivalent is preferred, with 1–5 years

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic accounting skills a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Manager and Project Manager on project execution.
• Maintain project quality records and ensure required reporting.
• Assist with material inventory and submittals, transmittals, and audits.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and scheduling; perform site duties as needed.
• Ability to travel 100% and work extended hours as required.
