Allteck is seeking a Substation Electrician for travel across the United States, performing construction, maintenance, and repair of high- and medium-voltage substation equipment within the Stations and Data Centers group.

The role requires completion of an Electrician apprenticeship with a journeyperson certificate, strong knowledge of HV/MV equipment, and willingness to travel and stay at sites for extended rotations. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an Electrician apprenticeship with a journeyperson certificate (Construction or Industrial).
• Substation construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract.

Aufgaben

• Install, assemble, and commission substation equipment including transformers, breakers, switchgear, disconnects, batteries, and protection and control systems.
• Construct and upgrade high- and medium-voltage substation facilities, including foundations-to-energization installation of new and replacement equipment.
• Terminate, connect, and test control wiring, instrument transformers, relays, and metering as directed.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
• Complete construction records, commissioning reports, and job documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all applicable safety codes, utility standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific work rules.
• Travel to and work at substation and data centre sites throughout the United States for extended rotations as assigned.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company vehicles in safe working order.
