OBR is seeking a Startup and Commissioning Specialist to plan, execute and document commissioning for new or upgraded industrial equipment. You will travel to customer sites across diverse industries, collecting data, troubleshooting, and performing inspections to ensure readiness for operation.
The role requires hands-on engineering, strong communication, and the ability to work with control systems and vibration monitoring.
Qualifikationen
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on field experience diagnosing electrical, control, and mechanical issues with industrial equipment.
- Working knowledge of vibration analysis and mechanical maintenance best practices.
- Familiarity with control systems, including VFDs, PLCs and related automation tools.
Aufgaben
- Plan, coordinate, and perform startup activities for new or upgraded equipment.
- Perform baseline vibration data collection during cooling tower start-ups.
- Collaborate with controls and automation team to ensure integration of vibration monitoring with control systems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during startup and commissioning phases.
- Maintain detailed commissioning documentation and turnover packages.
- Provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
- Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot vibration sensors and accelerometers.
