MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Flint, MI is seeking a Solutions Service Specialist to manage inventory at customer sites, perform put-away, replenishment of VMI and vending solutions, and uphold 6S standards.

You will coordinate with sales and BD teams to drive retention and revenue, log activities with routing software, and maintain safety compliance. This role requires 80% travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and general computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Responsabilités

• Maintain appropriate stock levels (min/max) to meet demand.
• Receive, unpack, and put away products at solution points of use.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on solution equipment.
• Log and track daily account activities using routing software.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts to ensure solution retention.
• Promote MSC CARE program and maintain 6S standards.
• Follow safety/compliance protocols and participate in special projects.
