Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Tiffin, OH is hiring a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to provide on-site customer service, manage replenishment, and keep solution equipment running smoothly.

You will partner with sales and business development to grow revenue through solutions, maintain 6S standards, and ensure high customer satisfaction on assigned accounts. Travel is required within the territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Inventory Management or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Relevant Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives MSC customer loyalty through the support and promotion of solutions.
• Supports and collaborates with MSC customer solutions and sales associates through CARE program execution.
• Maintains 6S appearance of all solutions equipment and ensures clean, organized work areas.
• Logs daily activity in SFDC and records stock levels min/max.
• Unpacks, receives, and puts away product at solution points of use.
• Connects with customer contact to ensure retention of solution and fosters relationships.
• Drives product expansion through spot buys and incremental solution growth.
• Leads 100% safety compliance within the VMIS team.
• Repairs and maintains vending solution equipment to company standards.
• Document opportunities for Solutions/Spot Buy growth in SFDC and communicate with Sales.
