Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Engineer to join its Field Service team in the North East Region (NY, PA, NJ, MA, DE, ME, CT, RI). The role focuses on hardware and software integration for energy management and the setup and commissioning of Sm@rtGear equipment, enabling remote monitoring and control of electrical apparatus.

You will implement energy-management solutions, follow safety procedures, and work independently with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Manufacturing or Computer Engineering or 4 years field service power distribution experience.
• Must be able to travel 80% across the US.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Implements hardware and software for energy management/monitoring solutions and Sm@rtGear.
• Understands and applies safety procedures.
• Follows basic standard project documentation for project completion.
• Identifies problems as they occur and takes proactive steps to solve them.
• Independently performs basic tasks and functions for professional field work.
• Prepare explanations to enable proper interpretation/evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics, or other technical data.
