Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer to architect Cloud and Managed Services (CMS) solutions, including hybrid colocation, for new logo customers across national sales teams. The role emphasizes consultative customer engagement, design of complex architectures, and clear documentation to support implementation.

The ideal candidate has extensive pre-sales experience, deep cloud/IT infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to translate technical detail into business value.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an IT related industry or equivalent preferred.
• 8-15 years of experience in industry relevant sales, consulting and/or sales engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to design & explain solutions to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Attend qualified sales calls and customer meetings to architect Cloud and CMS solutions including Colocation (Hybrid) for new logo customers.
• Create complete CMS/Hybrid solution designs and present solutions to potential customers.
• Provide technical drawings and narratives that support business impact of recommendations.
• Keep current on product offerings and industry trends.
