Job summary

Flexential Corp. in Portland, OR (hybrid HQs in Denver, CO or Hillsboro, OR) seeks a Field Solutions Engineer to lead CMS and Hybrid cloud opportunities for new logo customers. You will support the National Sales Team with pre-sales technical expertise, developing complete CMS solutions and presenting them to prospects.

You’ll design architectures across cloud, storage, networks, and databases, documenting required data and business impact. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 8-15 years of experience in industry relevant sales, consulting and/or sales engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to design & explain solutions to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Attend qualified sales calls and customer meetings to architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions including Colocation (Hybrid) for new logo customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise to the National Sales Team and support regional affinity.
• Create complete CMS/Hybrid solution designs and present solutions to potential customers.
• Develop technical drawings and narratives showing business impact of recommendations.
• Stay current on product offerings and industry trends and prepare documentation for Implementation after closing.
• Travel as required (approx. 10%).
