IDV USA is seeking a Field Software Engineer to support design, development, testing, and integration of software for military and specialty vehicle platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop embedded and application software, support system integration, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires hands-on engineering, strong programming skills (C/C++/C#), and willingness to travel up to 60% for meetings, demonstrations, and training.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with C, C++, and/or C# and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and embedded systems for vehicle platforms.
• Develop software requirements, architecture, and design documentation.
• Participate in system integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform software debugging, performance analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests.
• Support vehicle testing, field demonstrations, and customer evaluations as required.
• Ensure software development activities comply with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Maintain configuration management and version control of software products.
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation.
