Applied Intuition is seeking Field Integration Engineers to drive full-stack integration and deployment of software across customer hardware, vehicles, and test benches in the Chicago area. You will be the on-site technical expert, bringing up hardware, SIL/HIL setups, and debugging across software and vehicle networks.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience with embedded C/C++, Linux, and automotive networks, plus a willingness to travel up to 50% to domestic and international sites.

Qualifikationen

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in embedded C/C++, Linux development, and command-line environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in field integration on physical targets or embedded hardware.
• Understanding of automotive/industrial networks (CAN, Ethernet, J1939) and diagnostic standards (UDS/DoIP/OBD).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for fast-paced customer environments.

Aufgaben

• Deploy, configure, and integrate vehicle software on target hardware, HIL simulators, and vehicle platforms.
• Serve as on-site technical escalation point; collect logs, debug pipelines, and identify root causes.
• Validate CAN/LIN/Ethernet communications and end-to-end data flow between sensors, ECUs, and software.
• Collaborate with internal teams to reproduce field issues and implement fixes.
