Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking Field Integration Engineers to drive full-stack integration of our software across customer hardware and test benches. You will be the technical expert on-site, primarily in the Chicago area, bringing up target hardware, SIL/HIL setups, and troubleshooting software-hardware challenges across networks and vehicle platforms.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on embedded software/hardware integration, strong C/C++ and Linux skills, and 30%–50% travel to customer

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, CS or related field.
Strong programming in embedded C/C++, Linux CLI proficiency.
2+ years of hands-on experience with embedded hardware and software integration.
Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, J1939 networks and diagnostic standards.
Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

Deploy and integrate vehicle software on target hardware and HIL systems.
Be the on-site technical escalation point; collect logs and diagnose issues.
Debug interfaces and ensure end-to-end data flow between sensors, ECUs, and software.
Collaborate with internal teams to reproduce and fix field issues and improve systems.
Develop Python scripts and automation to streamline deployment and diagnostics.
